If you have visited the clubhouse in the last few weeks you will have noticed a number of significant ongoing renovations happening at the club. We have almost completed a full refurbishment of the club toilets, new flooring on the first floor landing as well as a new hot water system. Improvements to our floodlighting and pitches are also underway. The eagle eyed will also have spotted the inconspicuous presence of a catering trailer which the club has purchased and will be renovating over the summer to improve our customer experience at home games and events as well as provide what we anticipate will be a significant new income stream. It is with thanks to the outstanding efforts of our House & Grounds Committee as well as the positive trading results from last season that we are able to make these much needed investments and upgrades to our club.
However, I must stress that the next few months are traditionally a quiet time of the year for club trading and I would like to encourage our members to pay their membership subscriptions, buy season tickets and join our 100 club at their earliest convenience to allow us to continue our facility investment over the summer in readiness for the new season.
