GHA’s U18s played their much anticipated re-match with High School of Dundee in front of 50,000 fans at Ibrox last night. Both teams qualified to play in the 10 minute exhibition game after making the final of an U18s qualifier at Scotstoun in May.
GHA’s young bucks were in the ascendancy for much of the contest but failed to capitalise on a number of opportunities and managed only a solitary score from Robbie Black who pounced on a loose ball in the Dundee in goal area.
Dundee to their credit came back in the final minute when they broke out from under thir own posts to score a length of the field effort on the final whistle and draw the game.
The match was a tremendous show case of age grade 7s rugby in Scotland and congratulations to all involved.
