Ian Smith and Tim Peyton return to the pack on Saturday as GHA seek their first win of the Premier Two season. The back division is unchanged against Peebles at Braidholm after the 17-all draw at Jed last week.

GHA Boys At Home In National Youth Cup
Two of the GHA teams have been drawn at home for their first ties in National Youth Cup competitions.
The under-15 team area first up with a preliminary-round match against Cumbernauld at Braidholm on Sunday (20 September). That match will kick off at 2pm, and if they win it they will away to Hamilton on 4 October.

SEASON TO OPEN IN BORDERS TOMORROW

PRE-SEASON CONCLUDES WITH WIN AT IRVINE
GHA monopolised the second-half scoring in beating Irvine at Marress this afternoon. In the last warm-up before the start of the league programme in a weeks time the visitors were ahead by only 19-18 at half-time, but they went on to score 26 unanswered points to win by 45-18, scoring seven tries against Irvines two.

Gregg Taylor notched a couple of tries inside the first quarter of an hour to set GHA on their way to a 36-27 win against Hillhead/Jordanhill at Braidholm tonight.

GHAs first home match in the new Scottish Hydro Premier Two championship season will be against Biggar on Saturday 5 September. A further Braidholm game will follow against Peebles two weeks later.
However, GHAs league season will start the previous month with a visit to Kelso on 29 August.

Forrester To Make Scotland ‘A’ Debut
Congratulations and best wishes to Calum Forrester from GHA RFC. Calum, Glasgow Warriors former GHA forward, will make his Scotland A debut tomorrow in the IRB Nations Cup match against Uruguay in Bucharest.
