At Saturday’s club dinner a number of playing awards were handed out. The first was an award to former GHA player Jon Welsh in recognition of his first International Cap against Italy in the 6 Nations.
Other awards handed out on the night included 1st XV players’ player of the seaosn which went to converted back row forward, Alan Auld. Young player of the season went to 18 year old winger John Brogan.
For the 2nd XV, players’ player went to Gordon Adams meanwhile the Coaches’ player of the season went to Declan Larkin.
David and Debbie Barnett were also presented an award by President Bernard Dunn in recognition of their continued voluntary service to the club.
