GHA v Hawick This Saturday- Christmas Club Day, Bill McLaren Shield & Winter Food Drive

This Saturday, GHA will take on Hawick in a much anticipated fixture. With most clubs having at least one game in hand, the Premiership table is in flux and a play-off position well within reach.
Looking to continue on the success of the last two weeks, the stakes are now even higher for GHA as they look to win their first home game in defence of The Bill McLaren Shield.
To celebrate a fantastic fixture and to make the  most of it being 4 days before Christmas, we will be hosting a day of festive food, drink and fun for all supports, members and visitors.
There will be a festive pre-match lunch with all the trimmings from 12pm including:
– 2 course Christmas lunch for £12.50
– President and Coaches Q&A
– Play Your Cards Right – Festive Mayhem Edition
We expect a good crowd and some festive cheer, so Christmas apparel is encouraged! Make sure and don your best festive jumpers, shirts, hats, onesies, waistcoats, dresses, socks and/or ties and be in with a chance to win a prize!
Christmas pre-match lunch seats can be booked via: ghrfc@btconnect.com, but must be booked by 5pm, Thursday 18th Dec.
The club will also we holding a Winter Foodbank Drive throughout the week and on the gate at Saturday’s game.

Our collection last season was so successful and we were overwhelmed with the response!
Whether you are joining us for the game on Saturday, down for training during the week, or just passing by; we will be accepting donations in the Overlee lounge every evening and at the gate on Saturday.

It can be tough for all of us this time of year so we only ask you to give if you can.

Winter donation items can include:
– all dried foods including canned meats, veg and meals
– UHT milk
– gloves, socks and hats – adults and childrens
– toiletries for men, women, children and babies

We’re hoping for a good crowd on Saturday to help cheer on the 1XV and have a few Christmas celebrations!
