Dear Members and Supporters,
We are delighted to now have the new JWF 3G Pitch at Braidholm completed and fully operational. It is three years since planning permission was granted and a lot of hard work went in to the fundraising and delivery of this hugely ambitious project. I am sure you will all agree that it has all been worthwhile and the new pitch is looking fantastic.
To celebrate, we are holding an opening ceremony this Friday evening (15th Feb) and I would like to invite all of our members and supporters along for what should be a great evening. From 6pm we will have a hot buffet, with a short opening ceremony at 715pm followed by a game between GHA 2nd XV (the squad coached by Kenny Fairbairn of pitch sponsor JWF Process Solutions) and Marr 2nd XV in a crucial league fixture. As part of the plans for the evening, I would like to invite our junior section to take part in some fun games hosted by our senior players on the new pitch between 630 and 715, before forming a guard of honour.
