On what turned out to be a beautiful, bright sunny day, 14 golfers arrived at Stirling Golf Club for the traditional pre-match bacon roll and refreshments before embarking on the first outing of the year. With the weather really doing us proud, there were some spectacular views, like the one below of Stirling Castle taken by this year’s Society Captain, Graeme Thomson.
Once again played as a Stableford Competition, the spectacular scenery prompted some spectacular golf and congratulations must go to the top three prize winners pictured below being presented with their prizes by the Captain. Well done gentlemen!
