East Renfrewshire Renewable Energy Fund back Braidholm 3G

We are delighted to announce that the Braidhom 3G project has received a grant of £10,000 from the East Renfrewshire Renewable Energy Fund!

This is our first grant award towards the new facility however we still have several grant applications in the pipeline which are crucial to the overall funding plan for the development. With deadlines for these grant applications imminent, we would like to thank all of those who have donated so far for their generous support but also encourage all members and supporters who are considering supporting the Braidholm 3G project, to please donate towards our target of raising 10% (£70K) of the projected cost of the project from members/supporters donations. We aim to have achieved at least half of this target before the end of November. Being able to demonstrate that we have the support of our membership towards making this project a reality, will give those grant organisations the confidence that our project is one worth backing.

Including Gift Aid, we have now raised £30,000 through members donations which is a fantastic start. We will also be announcing a number of club fundraising initiatives in the coming weeks.
