This Saturday 18th May, GHA’s clubhouse bar facilities will be closed between the hours of 9am and 5pm to accommodate the CRY Cardiac Testing event and a private function.

Thanks to the Worboys family,  Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) and the EK Pirates, GHA has been given a tremendous opportunity for players and coaching staff aged 14-35 to go through a simple and painless screening procedure.

GHA club president Brian Tracey said: “As a club we are more than delighted to be working alongside EK Pirates on such a worthwhile initiative. The health and welfare of our players is of paramount importance and this screening and awareness raising is something we feel we must be part of.

As the Pro14 semi-final between Leinster & Munster kicks-off at 2.30pm, the club will be recording and showing the game at 5pm.

We apologise for the inconvenience the bars closure may cause GHA members and sincerely appreciate their support of this incredible cause.
