Tomorrow (Sat 9th Dec) we welcome Cartha QP to Braidholm for the second leg of the inaugural Billy Barnes Cup and it is all set to be a fantastic occasion. The pre-match lunch is packed and we hope to see a big crowd on the touchline supporting the teams. GHA hold a narrow aggregate lead from the first leg at Dumbreck back in September where they came away with a 27-34 win so it is all to play for. Kick Off is 2pm.

GHA welcome back the experienced trio of Tony Brogan (pictured), Andrew Gillman and Chris Binnie to the starting line-up as well as Scotland Rugby League International Scott Plumridge who starts in the back row after a stand out performance for the 2nd XV last weekend. Luther Mavunga also returns to the squad on the bench along with Cameron King. Andrew Spowart, Jack Preston, Adam Barnett, Adam Kerr and Jamie McCarthy all drop out due to injury.
Michael Scott continues to captain the side in Andrew Goudie’s absence.
